Business Development Executive

escubed is a contract analytical service provider currently specializing in particle analysis, with ambitious growth plans to enter the wider contract analytical market.  The company has been growing steadily over the past few years and is now seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to lead its next growth phase. Escubed has a European wide customer base and is based in Leeds, UK. 

The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for building up a business through gaining new customers and accounts, primarily in the Pharmaceutical and Nuclear sectors.

With a minimum of 5 years prior experience, you will be expected to:

  • Source, manage and implement new business opportunities, probably leveraging prior contacts
  • Maintain and increase profitability of current relationships
  • Ensure efficient and effective marketing and promotional planning
  • Provide management with account, market and competitor feedback
  • Present a budget for board approval, prudently manage that budget within company policy and corporate governance guidelines

 

You'll usually work office hours, Monday to Friday. Your job also involves travelling to visit clients and attending corporate entertainment events. You’ll be required to attend meetings at our Leeds office, although may prefer to work from home.

 

The Candidate

We are looking for someone with:

A demonstrated track record of growing a business through increased sales

A positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Experience of contract analytical work would be beneficial, especially experience of the pharmaceutical and/or nuclear waste sectors.

A smart appearance and professional manner
